The position of city center host is a project funded by the City of Gothenburg and property owners in the city center. As a city center host, you work outdoors on issues related to cleanliness, comfort, and hospitality. You are a visible representative of the city center and actively contribute to an attractive urban environment.

In the role of city center host, your responsibilities include:

• Patrolling the streets and squares of the city center
• Registering and reporting faults and deficiencies to the City of Gothenburg and property owners
• Picking up litter, cleaning up cigarette butts, and watering flower pots
• Moving incorrectly parked electric scooters
• Using an electric moped for short transports
• Writing and sharing weekly reports with the city center network
• Answering questions from visitors and businesses
• Building and maintaining good relationships with stakeholders in the city center

The work is primarily outdoors, every weekday and in all weather conditions. Collaboration also takes place with the Traffic Office, Park and Nature Administration, Employment Service, and KomVux.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

• Has good social skills and a strong service mindset
• Takes responsibility, is self-driven, and proactive
• Enjoys working outdoors and meeting people
• Has good local knowledge of Gothenburg's city center

Experience in retail, tourism, park management, or similar fields, as well as language skills beyond Swedish, is an advantage.
